Luca Beel is a Ghent-based visual artist.
Luca Beel is the epitome of a visual thinker. Her vocabulary is imagery, her focus aesthetics. Beel is a graduated photographer: she photographs architectural projects on commission while making her own photographic series as well. A fascination for design that is both functional and beautiful led Beel to explore and study furniture design. Next to her commissioned and personal photography work, she now designs objects and installations, often alongside designer Adriaan Tas. Merging different disciplines and blurring boundaries results in powerful visual artwork and design.
