The conceptualisation and production of her terrazzo bowls takes Luca Beel places. Quarries mines and sandpiles—both in Belgium and abroad—are stunning landscapes waiting to be photographed. The result is a series of abstract photographs showing concrete and its raw materials. In ‘Mineral’, pure aesthetics is the primary motive.
